One of the primary focuses of the UWI Centre for Community Outreach and Development (CCOD) is Community Outreach, which serves as the backbone of the Centre’s mission. Through this initiative, the CCOD actively engages with underrepresented and under-resourced communities, striving to reduce barriers to access, empower individuals, and foster sustainable development. The centre focuses on building social and intellectual capital in vulnerable groups, especially in inner-city communities near the University of the West Indies, Mona campus.
